The bond between survivors of a huge earthquake. In 1997, a huge earthquake hit Kobe, one of Japan’s major cities. The local Maiko High School established a special curriculum to raise leaders for the revival of future disasters. Then on 11 March 2011, Tohoku was hit by a massive earthquake. Students from Maiko High School rushed to the area to help survivors, but faced with the reality of the disaster, they were unsure of what they should do.
